Medium Pressure Ultraviolet Sterilizer

 

            The number of UV lamps used is greatly reduced due to the higher power of a single medium pressure UV lamp. Medium pressure UV lamps can withstand higher pressures and a wider range of temperatures, making them suitable for higher pressures and more stringent use environments (the UV-Z350-12 can withstand pressures of up to 16 kilograms and temperatures of up to 100 degrees Celsius). In order to reduce the installation footprint, the high power medium pressure lamps significantly reduce the size of the UV reactor.

              (i) low-pressure ultraviolet sterilizer at a wavelength of 253.7mm sterilization efficiency, but only a single linear output of a single spectrum; and medium-pressure ultraviolet lamps with a wide range of wavelengths, many bacteria can kill, for swimming pools such as low load of slightly contaminated water, enough to meet the bacteriological
              (ii) Low-pressure ultraviolet lamps do not have obvious degradation effects on chloramines; while medium-pressure ultraviolet lamps have a wider range of output wavelengths (230~400m), containing wavelengths of 245mm, 297nm and 340mm required for the degradation of chloramines. The decomposition of chloramine and other organic substances can be effectively promoted by photo-oxidation. The best decomposition wavelengths of chloramine, dichloramine and trichloramine are in the UVC, UVB and UVA bands, so the medium-pressure ultraviolet light has the ability to decompose chlorine compounds. Medium-pressure UV technology in chloramine decomposition is far better than the traditional low-pressure UV technology test using the same power (1200W) of the medium-pressure and low-pressure UV photodecomposition of chloramines in swimming pools, medium-pressure UV effective decomposition of chloramines (mg / L level) can reach 74%, much higher than the degradation effect of low-pressure UV.
